Projects

Welcome to the Projects page of JyotirmayAnanda Society (JNLPS). Here we share the various ongoing projects and initiatives we are working on to fulfill our mission of spreading the teachings of Integral Yoga and Vedanta.

  1. The Gita Project: We are committed to publishing the teachings of Sri Swami Jyotirmayananda in various languages. Our current focus is on the "Bhagavad Gita" project, with translations and commentaries in Hindi, Marathi, and Spanish. We aim to make this timeless wisdom accessible to people around the world through e-books, audiobooks, and printed books.

  2. Karma Yoga Service Projects: Our organization actively engages in Karma Yoga, selfless service to the community. We regularly volunteer at homeless shelters and participate in disaster relief efforts. We also conduct spiritual education classes for children, as well as meditation and pranayama classes.

  3. Bhakti/Dhyana/Jnana Yoga: We organize spiritual workshops, camps, and study groups to highlight the scriptural commentaries of Sri Swami Jyotirmayananda. We also host weekly live Satsangs with Swami Nikhilananda and Swamini Lalitapriyananda, who share insights on the "Yoga Vasistha," "Srimad Bhagavad Gita," "Ramayana," "Srimad Bhagavatam," and other spiritual texts.

  4. Publications and Media: We are dedicated to making Sri Swami Jyotirmayananda's teachings available in multiple formats, including books, e-books, audiobooks, and videos. Our goal is to co-publish and distribute his prior copyrighted publications and disseminate any unpublished works by him or the Yoga Research Foundation.

  5. Ashram and Monastery: We aspire to establish an ashram (monastery) in India and possibly other countries with residential facilities for intense spiritual practice and as a place for spiritual conferences. We are currently in talks with a devotee who has offered us land in Vrindavan, India, to set up a spiritual temple and a place for spiritual activities.

  6. Legal Support: We have sought assistance from an intellectual property counsel to protect IYF and its interests in the future from a legal standpoint.

Through these projects, we aim to fulfill our mission of spreading the teachings of Integral Yoga and Vedanta and help people attain self-realization. Stay tuned for updates on these projects and other initiatives that we undertake.

Jyotirmaya Yoga Society Commitment

Co-Publishing

As part of our commitment to sharing the teachings of Swami Jyotirmayananda and the Yoga Research Foundation with a global audience, IYF seeks permission to co-publish prior copyrighted publications in print, electronic audio, and other media. We will work closely with Swami Jyotirmayananda ji and the Yoga Research Foundation to ensure all necessary permissions are obtained. Co-publishing will enable us to publish new editions with any necessary corrections, and to make these teachings available in multiple languages, with a current focus on English, Hindi, and Spanish. We are excited to embark on this journey of spreading these invaluable teachings far and wide, and we thank Swami Jyotirmayananda ji and the Yoga Research Foundation for their support.

Dissemination of the teachings

The JYS is dedicated to spreading the teachings of Integral Yoga and Vedanta, as shared by Worshipful Swami Jyotirmayananda, to a global audience. As part of this mission, we aspire to transcribe, edit, publish, and disseminate any unpublished works by Swami Jyotirmayananda and the Yoga Research Foundation.

This includes commentaries on scriptures such as the Ramayana, Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Ashtavakra Gita, Vivekchudamani, Sunderkand, and more. We aim to make these teachings accessible in multiple formats, such as e-books, audiobooks, booklets, and books. Our team of Swami N, Swami L, Shriram ji, Rekha ji, and Orlando ji are working tirelessly to make this vision a reality, and we look forward to sharing these invaluable resources with spiritual seekers worldwide.
